Schools in Sudan

School in Sudan

Girl school in Sudan

On my travels around the world, I always strive to peer into the local schools – to see the country´s future. In northern Sudan, I visited several basic schools, mainly in the rural areas. I was always left speechless by the warm welcome by both teachers and students. Not only did they let me take photos during classes, chatted with me, sang songs – quite often they invited me for a cup of coffee or even for lunch. What a beautiful people!
